Usury Sacramento is a New Yorker, born and raised in the city that never sleeps. Immersed in a rich tapestry of cultures, she was drawn to art from an early age, finding inspiration in the vibrant cityscape and the diverse people who inhabit it. Her passion for fashion was ignited during her time at the High School of Art and Design, ultimately leading her to pursue a BFA in Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design. 

 

With over six years of experience in the fashion industry, Usury has developed a versatile skill set spanning design, production, and retail. Her current focus lies at the intersection of fashion, systems, and society investigating how clothing can be a vehicle for addressing social issues and promoting inclusivity and sustainability. She is driven by a commitment to becoming a creative leader and fostering innovative change through her work.

 

At the core of Sacramento’s work is the philosophy of “Meaning Behind the Message,” where every stitch, silhouette, and design choice reflects a deeper cultural narrative and a conscious effort to spark dialogue and awareness.
